Sales Enablement Specialist, Reuters

Are you passionate about driving revenue through enablement for global sales teams? Looking to use your skills to tactically support a diverse and talented team of account managers and executive across a wide array of services at a purpose-led media enterprise?

As a Sales Enablement Specialist, you'll report to the Senior Manager of Sales Enablement operating a crucial role in empowering our sales teams with the resources, training, and support they need to excel. Working closely with the team and wider Commercial Excellence organization, you will support the creation, administration and optimization of training materials, sales assets, and strategic insights. As well as supporting on sales training sessions of all sizes, you will act as a key stakeholder for sales teams to access the knowledge, content, and tools needed to close deals and grow client relationships.

About the role:

As our Sales Enablement Specialist, you will:

Content Development & Management

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product, and Sales to curate and organize sales collateral, pitch decks, case studies, and other materials.
  • Update and maintain a centralized content repository, ensuring that sales teams can easily access the latest, most relevant information.

Training & Onboarding:

  • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and execution of sales training sessions, product demos, and skill-building workshops.
  • Support the onboarding process for new sales hires by providing them with access to essential training materials, e-learning, resources, and tools.
  • Track participation in training programs, tools and collateral usage and provide feedback to the team on engagement levels and outcomes.

Performance Metrics & Reporting:

  • Gather and analyze data on sales activities, deal cycle stages, and enablement program effectiveness.
  • Generate regular reports and insights to identify areas for improvement and optimize sales processes.
  • Provide feedback to the team on trends, gaps, and opportunities in the sales workflow.

Sales Training

  • Support the Sales Enablement team in organizing, delivering and reporting on training initiatives across the business
  • Conduct basic learning and informative sessions with Sales on tools, updates and collateral
  • Support the Sales Enablement team and wider Commercial Excellence organization in effective internal communications and on-site/off-site meeting agendas.

About you:

To be our Sales Enablement Specialist, you will ideally have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a sales enablement, marketing, or sales support roles, preferably within media, news, or technology industries.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce), content and learning management systems, and other sales enablement platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with global and diverse cross-functional teams
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills with experience generating reports and using data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to learn fast, pivot and adapt depending on business priorities.
  • Project management skills.
  • Very good English (written and verbal communication)
  • Proactive self-starter

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the media and news industry and its unique sales challenges.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of digital marketing principles and B2B sales processes.
  • Sales training or coaching experience in any sized sales teams
  • Deep knowledge of instructional design and adult education principles.
  • Additional fluent language skills
