What you'll do
- You'll balance technical expertise with a strong understanding of TJX's E-Commerce website performance, user experience, and operational stability directly impact business outcomes.
- You will oversee the smooth running of the ecommerce platforms associated core application systems help to deliver continued growth in a key area of the business.
- Respond to, identify, and troubleshoot escalations of current IT Operations hardware, software, or processes, using ticket logging application.
- Demonstrates constant industry & domain awareness of current IT trends. Provides recommendations using continuous improvement processes.
- Has growth mindset of industry & domain. Demonstrates advanced awareness of current technology & Service Management trends. Proposes innovation solutions.
- Collaborates with Global IT partners & supports business operations.
- Acts as lead for work provided by a 3rd party Service Provider
- Demonstrates advanced communications skills to collaborate with business partners, customers and influence Senior Leadership
- Owns technical & process documentation. (SOP, Guides & Knowledge)
- Responsible for communication, training and coaching to Global business partners.
- Drives installation, migration, updates, and integration of IT Services using Kanban / Agile methodology. May own EPICs.
- Responsible for achieving operational stability & resiliency.
- Drives ITSM & Dev-Sec-Ops best practice to support changes to IT Services & processes at a high level of complexity.
- Accountable for adherence to Sarbanes Oxley and all compliance standards
What you'll need
A Staff Tech Ops Lead has the knowledge & experience to own, design, and deliver Operational process, services, and business functionality in two or more areas / domain(s). They operate the process & technology in an IT Operations area, resolve escalations, and can communicate strategy. Tech Leads at this level can lead & deliver process improvement, Operational objectives, or Epics in their supported area. They leverage DevSecOps and ITIL best practices to build high-quality processes, ensure Operational stability and continue to expand their advanced industry knowledge. They exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact and influence service providers, business partners and Leadership.
Minimum Requirements
- Strong customer focused communication skills
- Advanced Presentation Capabilities, Ability to deliver presentations suitable for executive leadership
- Bachelor's degree in technology or information systems or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of Ecommerce platform architecture (preferably Oracle ATG) and operations
- Knowledge of core business processes that integrate with E-Commerce platform (e.g. merchandising, fulfilment , supply chain , markdown etc)
- Experience of managing and running 3rd party AMS services team
- 8-10 years of related IT experience with 5+ years of experience in an IT Service Management related role
- ITIL 4 Foundation, ITIL 4 Managing Professional
- IT Service Management Tools - ServiceNow
- Mid-level technical knowledge of multiple platform/systems/architecture (ex: web, client/server, cloud, database, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic understanding of Network Protocols:
- DNS,HTTP,TCP/IP,POP3,SMTP,SSL/TLS,SSH,TCP/UDP,FTP/SFTP/FTP-SSL
- Agile/SAFe Methodologies, SDLC- Confluence, Jira;
This position has a starting salary range of $110,500 to $143,700 per year.
Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
