Senior Property Development Technology Specialist - Marlborough, MA

Reports to: Property Development Technology Manager

Job Summary

The Senior Technology Specialist will assume an advanced role in supporting the Technology Manager/Supervisor in the strategic planning, implementation, and management of software applications and hardware needs for Lucernex, Service Channel, Revit, and AutoCAD with a primary focus on Lucernex. This senior-level position involves not only hands-on technical expertise but also a strategic mindset to contribute to the overall technology roadmap. The Senior Specialist will play a pivotal role in the design, development, and maintenance of software/hardware solutions to enhance business operations, streamline processes, and maximize efficiency within the Property Development Department and other TJX divisions.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Application Management:

  • Assist in leading collaborative efforts with the Technology Manager to manage and administer Lucernex software.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of software systems through hands-on technical expertise.
  • Help drive the identification, development, and implementation of software solutions that meet business requirements.

Strategic Planning:

  • Take a proactive role in the development and maintenance of a strategic roadmap for the effective use and future initiatives of Lucernex within the organization.
  • Participate actively in the evaluation, selection, and recommendation of new software applications or upgrades that enhance operational efficiency within Property Development.

User Support and Training:

  • Provide advanced support, guidance, and training to end-users on Lucernex and any new applications and hardware implemented.
  • Collaborate with the Technology Manager in a lead capacity for troubleshooting and resolving complex software-related issues.

Data Management:

  • Lead efforts in managing data integrity and security for Lucernex, ensuring compliance with industry and company data standards.
  • Take ownership of maintaining records of all changes and implementations as required by the company's audit guidelines.

Vendor Relations:

  • Drive efforts in cultivating relationships with software vendors, staying informed about updates, new features, and best practices.
  • Collaborate directly with vendors on troubleshooting and issue resolution under the guidance of the Technology Manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Architecture & Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a senior-level application management role, preferably with Lucernex or a related real estate management software.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of software development methodologies.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or related Autodesk products are a plus.
  • Relevant certifications in Lucernex, AutoCAD, and Revit are a plus.

This position has a starting salary range of $72,000 to $91,800 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
