Sr Compliance Risk Analyst - Global Privacy

The Opportunity:Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career

The Senior Compliance Risk Analyst supports the global privacy compliance obligations of the organization through the management of projects that will assist in compliance with privacy laws, regulations, and TJX Information Management Program policies. This role will support the overall privacy team and compliance initiatives by providing in-depth analysis, research, and coordination of projects, as assigned. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week on site in our Marlborough, MA headquarters.

What You Will Do:

  • Collaborates with various departments including IT, Risk Assurance and Marketing to ensure website processing activities are in compliance with TJX internal policies and applicable law.
  • Facilitates review of all externally facing privacy statements and notices and works closely with Privacy team members and other business stakeholders to ensure all notices are updated as needed.
  • Stays current on privacy, data protection, and other compliance standard processes and current issues, specifically those related to cookies, pixels, web beacons and other tracking technologies, and transparency and consent obligations.
  • Coordinates and communicates with individuals and groups throughout the company, including senior management, as necessary to maintain, improve, and support the goals of privacy compliance programs.
  • Provides analysis and support and helps scope privacy compliance initiatives (i.e., data minimization, data retention, improving access controls, appropriate use of personal data).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who We Are Looking For: You

  • 2-3 years compliance, privacy, consulting, or similar experience with focus on Information Technology projects and initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, advanced degree or technical/privacy certifications a plus
  • Working knowledge of privacy laws and regulations including the GDPR, CCPA and PECR preferred.
  • Familiarity with standards and frameworks such as NIST, ISO, and SOC a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding critical thinking skills.
  • Pragmatic thinker with practical commonsense approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills including exceptional presentation skills.
  • Developed interpersonal skills and the ability to influence, collaborate and build effective working relationships with internal partners across the organization.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail, can prioritize multiple work streams concurrently.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365/Office suite including Excel as well as database management tools.
  • Experience with OneTrust or other privacy and data governance platforms a plus.

This position has a starting salary range of $80,500 to $102,700 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. This position is eligible for an annual incentive.
