What you'll do
It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Provide support to the Workplace Services team and Associates as required by working with vendors to ensure service requests are taken care of for the Associates, updating floor plans, assisting with moves within the office, assisting with on-going projects, participating in committee and team meetings.
- Create and update space planning drawings using AutoCAD and Revit to optimize office layouts and configurations
- Maintain and update systems for office relocations and facility service requests, ensuring accurate data and efficient workflow
- Update office floor plans for various projects reflecting current layouts and changes
- Coordinate and assist with interoffice moves, including planning, logistics, and execution
- Assist with various facility-related requests, providing timely and effective solutions
- Identify and mark empty offices and workstations on floor plans in the FM system for effective space management
- Create and document process flowcharts and instructions
What you'll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Pursuing an education and/or experience in Facilities Management - preferably a corporate environment
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong Computer skills (spreadsheets, word processing; e-mail), and Database experience an asset.
- Organizational skills including prioritizing and organizing tasks; time management (i.e. completing projects on time; working with short time frames)
- Good problem-solving skills which include the ability to effectively and efficiently resolve issues
- Demonstrated interpersonal abilities to perform effectively in a collaborative and team-oriented environment
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing needs of the business, and changing priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Hourly Rate: $18.90 * /hour
*This represents the expected pay rate. Starting rates may vary depending on various factors.
