What you will do:
The Global Supply Chain - Retail Distribution Team is responsible for managing various Warehouse Management solutions within TJX IT. The organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer experience and provide business value. We seek a motivated, talented Senior Engineer with good understanding of SDLC, Manhattan SCI , Cognos , and BI design Principles to help architect enterprise solutions.
What you will need:
The Global Supply Chain - Retail Distribution Team thrives on strong relationships with our business partners and works diligently to address their needs, which supports TJX growth and operational stability. On this tightly knit and fast-paced solution delivery team you will be constantly challenged to stretch and think outside the box.
You will be working with product teams, architecture and business partners to strategically plan and deliver the product features by connecting the technical and business worlds. You will need to break down complex problems into steps that drive product development while keeping product quality and security as the priority. You will be responsible for most architecture, design and technical decisions within the assigned scope.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent Engineering skillset
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis and report development with Manhattan SCI
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management
- Experience in developing and implementing key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting metrics
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, platform, infrastructure)
- Agile practitioner - Scrum / Kanban / SAFe environment
- Responsible for achieving operational excellence as part of delivering feature.
- Best practice knowledge in coding standards
- Excellent communication skills, ability to influence those around you
- Solid team player with mentorship skills
- Ability to understand the work environment and competing priorities in conjunction with developing/meeting project goals
- Shows a positive, open-minded and can-do attitude
Experience in the following technologies:
- Mahattan Active or Manhattan 2018 SCI
- Proficiency in IBM Cognos Framework Manager, Studio
- Certification in IBM Cognos Analytics or related technologies
- Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries
- Expertise in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports
- Familiarity with other data visualization tools for reporting and insights is a plus
- GitHub or other source control experience
