What you'll do
It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • This role is accountable for researching, planning, communicating and executing engagement programs, initiatives, and events across TJX Canada, liaising between business and HR stakeholders. Responsibilities include supporting national well-being programs and engagement initiatives to build unique and valued Associate experience within the organization
  • Is responsible for functions related to TJX Canada's annual Engagement survey including project planning, data gathering and reporting, supporting HRBP's during rollouts, trouble shooting and during post survey action planning
  • Proactively identifies opportunities to build and improve on various existing processes and programs that directly impact Associate Engagement in the business
  • Responsible for the development of annual engagement events, including idea generation, management approvals, communication, budgeting, and execution of events with business stakeholders and external vendors
  • Manage all aspects of engagement event budgets, monitoring progress and expenditures, use of purchase orders etc
  • Analyze emerging trends, identify needs, understand key drivers of engagement and bring forward opportunities to increase Associate engagement; provide survey insights and analytics to support people leaders
  • Develops reports and dashboards to identify, measure and evaluate engagement drivers, levers, and programs.

What you'll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum five (5) years Human Resources experience: preferably in workforce engagement, event planning and coordination considered an asset
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Human Resources (or related program) is an asset
  • Excellent HR / workforce engagement knowledge including the ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures; monitoring and implementing program changes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including excellent Excel skills, strong Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint; experience with Adobe products considered an asset
  • Exceptional inter-personal skills - able to build relationships at all levels and within local, regional, national, and global markets; able to challenge other's thinking appropriately
  • Project management skills including maintaining detailed plans for projects; understanding and applying principles of project ownership; ability to organize and track program delivery progress across multiple engagement and wellness initiatives
  • Excellent data collection skills including needs assessment, analysis of information (e.g. description of problems, qualitative data collection and analysis etc.); able to analyze and interpret data sets using statistics and report synthesis to convey meaningful trends and insights
  • Problem assessment and resolution skills in a fast-paced environment; including the prioritization and management of multiple demands; ability to handle high volume workload; information gathering while maintaining strict confidentiality
  • Exceptional communication skills such as active listening, open to new ideas, respectful of others and ability to express and articulate views clearly in writing while adaption to various audiences at TJX

Salary Range: $73,190 - $102,410 /year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
