What you'll do

It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:

  • Executes technology implementation projects, including integrating new, and existing technology initiatives while determining impact, priorities, and timeframes for completion; connecting systemic enhancements and all operational activities
  • Accountable for the successful implementation and rollout of business systems technology improvements across all TJX Canada Distribution Services, including developing and maintaining technical documentation and evaluations, integrating distribution services system projects
  • Gathers business feedback on pilot project rollouts and revises/updates technology training processes and procedural documentation to ensure successful implementation; utilizes Agile principles in the development and deployment of new systems and enhancements
  • Responsible for performing user testing on new systems applications and reviews applications to evaluate effectiveness and readiness before roll-out to the stores
  • Collaborates with training teams (DC, Global IT, L&D) to design, develop and execute technology training in support of business system projects across the supply chain including assessing training needs, tools and resources, training rollout schedules, documentation etc.
  • Identifies requirements for new technology applications through research; supports creation of new lean business cases for technology applications and hardware to support RFP process
  • Acts as subject matter expert to business partners finding ways to support technology rollouts; providing guidance on business system processes, procedures, programs and technical support to DC Operations teams
  • Develops project plans, reporting, analysis and recommendations to facilitate Senior Leadership decision making on short- and long-term technology strategies

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, we require the following:

  • Minimum three (3) years supply chain, warehouse operations, logistics or systems project management experience required
  • Post secondary degree in Business Management, Computer Science and or Retail Operations preferred
  • Experienced working on Lean Six Sigma projects considered an asset
  • Demonstrated strong project management skills including maintaining detailed development plans for projects; understanding and applying principles of project control; ability to manage projects within one or more systems
  • Strong problem-solving skills including analysis of information and research skills with knowledge of design/manipulation concepts
  • Strong organizational skills including change management, time management; ability to implement and manage details, prioritize, and multi-task with limited supervision and under time pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate and interpret information accurately; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Service Now, etc.

Salary Range: $73,190 - $102,410/year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
