RETAIL SOURCING ASSOCIATE - SPAIN

The Opportunity: Contribute To The Growth Of Your Career

Conduct market research and recommend sourcing opportunities to TJX buyers and the internal sourcing team, managing goods across all categories. Coordinate buyer visits to manufacturers and oversee the order process from vendor selection to final inspections and shipping.

  • Conduct ongoing product and market trends research. Identify and assess new market opportunities, competition and product development resources.
  • Gather information on availability, pricing, orders status from suppliers.
  • Attend trade shows to evaluate products and trends.
  • Communicate sourcing opportunities to buyers for evaluation and potential purchase.
  • Coordinate buyer trips, scheduling manufacturer visits, and accompany buyers to facilitate the selection and negotiation process.
  • Monitor orders, providing instructions on manufacturing, preparation, and shipment. Notify management of any potential issues affecting timelines.
  • Obtain and manage reference samples for approval or review by the buyer or product development team.
  • Conduct final quality control checks before shipping, ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Report issues and suggest solutions.
  • Ensure that new vendors and factories meet TJX standards for Social Compliance and Cargo Security.

Who We Are Looking For: You!

  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English.
  • Extensive knowledge of brands, product categories, and manufacturers, gained through hands-on experience and professional training.
  • Good communication skills to discuss orders with buyers of all TJX Divisions.
  • Able to build relationships, be personable, maintain a positive attitude and collaborate with others
  • Experience with Microsoft to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
