Monitors and troubleshoots all hardware, peripheral components and software applications in the Fulfillment Center/ Distribution Center. Ensures functionality and coordinates servicing as necessary. Interfaces with Home Office Systems Division regarding the installation and operation of Fulfillment Center/Distribution Center hardware, peripheral components and software applications. Provides technical assistance to Fulfillment Center/Distribution Center users.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Monitors Fulfillment Center/Distribution Center e-mail inbox and submits tickets to Service Now as issues arise
- Monitors and troubleshoots all Fulfillment Center/Distribution Center computer, telecommunications (voice and data) and copier hardware to include; printers, terminals, RF units, controllers, IDF cabinets, to ensure continuous operation within the Fulfillment Center/Distribution Center.
- Ensures all network components are operational, makes repairs, adjustments, and reconfigures systems as needed
- Assists IT Supervisor in making recommendations concerning installations, continued maintenance and planning of current projects
- Installs necessary communication equipment. Installs cable lines and configures systems, as deemed necessary
- Sets up individual user computers/workstations and peripheral devices on network. Identifies and resolves problems, cleans and reconfigures equipment, makes repairs and/or coordinates service
- Monitors software applications and file server to ensure functionality. Installs software and performs systems backups. Interfaces with Home Office Systems Division regarding application operations
- Provides training and technical assistance to Fulfillment Center/Distribution Center users as necessary. Leads and executes various systemic/operational projects within facility
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 2 years computer operations with demonstrated familiarity with communications (voice, data, telecommunications) warehouse/Order Management Systems or Windows NT administration
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility with changing demands and priorities
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications. Ability to create pivot tables, graphs, complex formulas, macros and Access database knowledge is a preferred but not required
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Background or knowledge of network cabling and network infrastructure. Router, wireless Access Points, switches, patch panels

This position has a starting pay range of $19.95 to $26.90 per hour. Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
