What you'll do
It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key accountabilities of the role:
- Supports the design, maintenance, and coordination of new and existing risk-related programs, through assessment, response, analysis, related research, participating and leading committees, providing reports and analytics and supporting with training
- Will conduct and support risk assessments
- Attends and supports offsite events in person, both nationally and internationally in relation to the Business Event Security program and other programs as may be required
- Assists and provides input for the development of new LP risk-related programs including assessing needs, responding to requests and gathering related information, providing additional evidence to support needs and coordinating activities in support of bringing program to life (e.g. training, reporting etc)
- Conducts periodic Policy Review and updates on new and existing programs such as Critical Incident Management, Travel Safety and Security, Event Security, and the Workplace Violence Response program
- Coordinates new and existing programs related to security and risk ensuring programs meet departmental objectives and mitigate risks
- Developing subject matter expert within LP Risk team in relation to existing and new programs, projects and initiatives, analyzing data based on metrics, providing quantitative and qualitative observations, and developing recommendations based on findings
What you'll need
To begin your career with us, we require the following:
- Minimum three (3) years of related Retail LP and/ or security & risk management experience
- Demonstrated analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to read, write, communicate, and interpret information accurately; able to develop and build relationships with internal and external partners/ team members; including efficiently and effectively responding to inquiries or resolving any conflicts or problems that might arise
Salary Range: $58,910 - $82,472
*This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
