What you will do

Digital IT Operations is responsible for managing our infrastructure & configurations across our data canters/providers and supporting our environments. The organization delivers capabilities that enrich the customer experience and provide business value.

We are seeking a motivated and talented leader with a solid understanding of Release & Environment Management, DevSecOps, and outstanding collaboration skills. The Release & Environments Manager will:

  • Own and define the cross-technology domain release management process.
  • Be responsible for process design, optimization, and policy/governance.
  • Partner with Product, Project, and Operations teams.
  • Lead all aspects of the provision and access of environments, ensuring standards are maintained throughout projects and business-as-usual (BAU) activities.
  • Build environment roadmaps based on multiple project requirements.
  • Set and manage environment guidelines (release, refreshes) through the application lifecycle to release.
  • Coordinate database and environment refreshes (including obfuscation where required) for testing and operational use.

The Digital IT Operations Team thrives on positive relationships with our delivery & development partners, working diligently to address their needs which supports TJX growth and operational stability. In this tightly knit and fast-paced operational delivery team, you will be constantly challenged to think creatively.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with product teams, third-party vendors, and operational stakeholders to ensure availability and stability, data refreshes, and best practices in test environments.
  • Establish and manage the Release Management process and function.
  • Actively coach and mentor engineers, scrum masters, and developers to identify and resolve issues with technology and product processes.

We are seeking a leader ready to contribute to the delivery of globally distributed, high-quality applications. You should be passionate about developing talent and promoting a strong engineering mindset to elevate our organization to the next level.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a relevant technical domain
  • Agile Release Management, Agile Delivery Experience
  • Test Environment & Release Management Experience
  • Ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with Application and SaaS development release processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Successful track record of manage multiple work streams with competing priorities.
  • Proficiency in process formulation
  • Demonstrable ability to build relationships and influence individuals and leaders at all levels.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a SAFe Agile team
  • ITIL Certification (Release Management)
  • PMP Certification

This position has a starting salary range of $122,400 to $159,100 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
