It's safe to say, there's no shortage of variety in what we do. Here are some key responsibilities of the role:

• Provide administrative support services to the TJX Canada Distribution Centre.

• Provide advanced and confidential administrative support services to the respective AVP, Manager of Facility

• Provides full administrative assistance including preparing documents and presentation materials, screening and responding to incoming correspondence, inquiries and phone calls, drafting letters, arranging and attending meetings, recording and distributing minutes, ordering office supplies, and calling for office equipment repairs

• Responds, prepares, and distributes as directed key communication and agendas to DC teams inclusive of the TV monitors

• Maintains and updates DC bulletin/communication boards, phone lists, dept lists, lunchroom, and mailboxes inclusive of conducting monthly audits to remove/update signage, messaging etc

• Plans, organizes and supports event details such as menus, accommodation, audiovisual equipment, upgrades, agendas, invites, and maps

What you'll need

To begin your career with us, you'll have:

  • Strong communication skills including written (interoffice memos, reports, vendor letters, etc.); and verbal (telephone)
  • Customer service skills including effectively and efficiently responding to all Associate and Operations Management inquiries in a courteous and professional manner including dealing with high-pressure telephone calls; persuasiveness; identifying stated and unstated customer needs; building relationships with Distribution Centre Operations Management and Associates; escalating any conflicts or problems that might arise; etc.)
  • Computer skills including knowledge of Human Resource Systems (i.e.Kronos), word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email
  • Working effectively with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and ability to travel, including between facilities, Home Office and other locations as required; work at each facility as scheduled

Salary Range: $42,330 - $59,160/year

This represents the expected hiring range and may not represent the full pay range for the position. The salary offered may be higher than the posted range depending on several factors such as relevant skills, qualifications, and experience
