Consumer Insights Specialist, Customer Experience

Job Summary

The Consumer Insights Specialist will join a growing team, leading insights and analysis to support TJX brand's growth. The Specialist will be responsible for supporting research and analysis for our on-going Customer Experience tracking programs across all 5 brands (T.J.Maxx, Marshalls, HomeGoods, Homesense, and Sierra) to help improve the in-store experience for our shoppers. A successful candidate should demonstrate strong analytics, business intuition, and communication skills. They will work cross-functionally with a wide variety of data sources and partners including Operations, Marketing, IT, as well as our external CX/research partners.

Major Areas of Responsibility

  • Support understanding of Customer Experience wins and opportunities for US Stores by analyzing data and generating insights
  • Support understanding of impact of in-market tests
  • Lead survey and program health and find opportunities for operational and insight improvements
  • Partner with field leaders to ensure appropriate access and store information so the right data is with the right users
  • Translate data into relevant findings and communicate insights to internal team and business partners
  • Establish partnerships across various business functions within TJX, and research vendors

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree; minimum 2 years' experience in market research
  • Background in generating insights and action from quantitative research
  • Passion for understanding consumers' mentality and behaviors, advocating for the customer, and growing in the insight function
  • Ability to learn and quickly apply new tools and techniques
  • Adept at presenting complex concepts in an easy to understand and actionable way
  • Attention to details and able to grasp the big picture
  • High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office products

This position has a starting salary range of $66,500 to $83,100 per year.

Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.
