B.E.S.T./Company standards. Ensures appropriate fixture usage. Makes appropriate within policy
decisions regarding markdowns and damages. Provides ongoing, prompt, courteous and knowledgeable
service to customers to include ringing customer purchases in an efficient manner. Available and willing
to work in multiple areas of the store as needed. Must have open availability including the ability to
work nights and weekends.
Major Areas of Responsibility
• Flows goods to the sales floor following the principles of B.E.S.T and Merchandise
Presentation Standards.
• Ensures the creation and maintenance of current, fresh, and fashionable features.
• Ensures all fixtures are properly signed.
• Ensures the quick and efficient flow of goods into the departments.
• With Management, establishes merchandising plans and priorities for assigned
departments and classifications.
• Provides prompt, knowledgeable customer service to both internal and external
customers.
• Provides training to all Associates on merchandise/presentation standards, flow, recovery
and B.E.S.T. merchandising principles.
• Processes cash register transactions accurately and efficiently, according to established
policy and procedure.
• Approves returns following the proper policy and procedure.
• Assists in resolving rewraps and no-ticket merchandise.
• Maintains cleanliness, recovery and organizational standards throughout the store.
• Approves markdowns within approval authority and according to policy and procedure.
• Communicates all shrink/damage reduction related ideas and concerns to Management
and Loss Prevention. Attends store shrink meetings.
• Reports to Store Management any type of safety hazard in the store.
• Other duties as assigned.
