Summary:

The Staff Pad is honored to partner with a non-profit healthcare system in Helena, Montana with superior care and a hometown commitment to be the gold standard for health care in Montana This position is responsible to provide general direct and indirect patient care duties, in the clinic setting, under the direct supervision of a physician. It involves patient intake and documentation of clinical data while delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate electronic medical records (EMR), employing culturally competent care strategies, and adhering to the medical assistant scope of practice. The position also requires monitoring the practice schedule, collaborating with the care team for clinic visits, and guiding patients to ensure timely and prepared attendance at appointments.

Knowledge and Experience:

1-year of healthcare experience preferred

Education: High school graduate, HiSET or GED equivalent preferred. Requires successful completion of a CMA program within 6 months of hire.

LICENSE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY: Must enroll in the CMA training program and must obtain certification within 6 months of hire. Current and valid BLS certification required.
