Job Description: Analyst - Vendor Management Program

We are seeking a highly motivated and diligent individual to join our team as an Analyst for the Vendor Management Program. In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient and effective coordination of software renewals and vendor relationships. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing, entering, and following up on approvals, financial requests, purchase order requests, reminder emails, scribing for meetings, and other vital tasks to ensure smooth operations within the program.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and enter approvals, financial requests, purchase order requests, and other relevant documentation into the tools used for software renewals accurately and in a timely manner.

Follow up on pending approvals and requests, ensuring timely completion and resolution.

Assist in tracking vendor renewal due dates and assisting in the coordination of the teams needed for advancing the renewals as needed.

Generate and send reminder emails to internal partners regarding upcoming vendor-related activities, deadlines, and deliverables.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to capture vital information and documentation required for software renewals.

Serve as a meeting scribe during vendor-related meetings, detailing key discussions, action items, and decisions made.

Support the vendor management team in conducting vendor performance evaluations and assessments, providing valuable insights and analysis.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, files, and databases related to vendor management activities.

Assist in the implementation of vendor management policies, procedures, and standard processes.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the program.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational skills with outstanding attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with partners at all levels.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet timelines, and work independently with minimal direction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
