Position Summary:

Thermo Fisher ANZ is embarking a significant project to implement and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system across various functions, integrating with various systems. We are seeking a seasoned Transformation Lead who will report to the ANZ IT Director with robust supply chain expertise and end-to-end business knowledge, and extensive experience with JD Edwards and SAP ERP applications to lead this ground-breaking initiative. Role will be based onsite in Scoresby, Victoria, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

The Transformation Lead is a pivotal leadership role in driving the successful implementation of the ERP system. The role demands a strategic leader with profound experience in supply chain management, end-to-end business process transformation, and business analysis. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the project team, partners, and senior leadership to ensure the seamless integration and optimization of business processes.

Leadership and Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a robust transformation strategy that aligns with the company's vision of a single ERP vision.
  • Act as a liaison between the technology delivery team, external vendors, and various local and global business partners, to ensure excellence and accountability.
  • Lead and inspire a team of transformation experts, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Project Management:

  • Collaborate with the Business Project Coordinator (PC) and IT Project Coordinator (PC) to coordinate all aspects of the implementation lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing.
  • Oversee the implementation, integration of ERP across with other enterprise applications such as CRM, PLM, eCommerce, data warehouses, etc.
  • Engage with diverse teams and project team to ensure the single ERP system vision aligns with business requirements and enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Oversee the optimization of the quote-to-cash process to enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration and high-standard data quality across various ERP and other systems.

Business Transformation:

  • Identify, prioritize, and manage transformation initiatives that deliver significant business value with minimum disruption.
  • Apply standard methodologies in organisational change to facilitate smooth transitions and secure partner agreement.
  • Partner with the Change Manager to implement impact management strategies, including the development and implementation of training and communication plans.

Business Analysis:

  • Leverage deep supply chain knowledge to optimize supply chain processes within the ERP system.
  • Apply extensive knowledge and experience with JD Edwards and SAP ERP applications to guide the implementation process
  • Ensure the ERP implementation supports end-to-end supply chain visibility and efficiency.
  • Conduct comprehensive business analysis to understand and document current processes, identify gaps, and define requirements for the ERP system.
  • Develop detailed business requirements documentation and work closely with technical teams to ensure accurate system configuration.

Collaborator Management

  • Engage with collaborators at all levels to gather input, manage expectations, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Facilitate effective communication and teamwork between business units, IT, and external vendors.

Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • A proven ability in leading ERP systems and business transformation projects.
  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP systems, specifically E1 and SAP S/4HANA.
  • Consistent track record of successfully leading sophisticated transformation initiatives in the manufacturing industry and international organizations.
  • Deep understanding of supply chain processes, quote-to-cash, integrations, data migration, and eCommerce.
  • Strong knowledge of drop ship models, 3PL, and 4PL logistics.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and implement methodically.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to thrive in an ambiguous situations.
  • Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and articulate a clear vision for business transformation and ERP management across the APAC region.
  • Facilitating Change: Experienced in successfully facilitating change and encouraging the acceptance of new processes and technologies.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to find opportunities for improvement and measure impact.
  • Collaboration: Ability to effectively work with different functions and establish positive relationships with collaborators, customers, partners, and team members.
  • Hard-working: Strive to achieve tangible business results and promote ongoing improvement.
