Position Summary:

Optimize and maintain import product database to comply with Customs and CIQ requirement, expedite the importation process and control the importation risk by fully utilizing Customs clearance system and updating Customs and CIQ regulation.

Essential Functions

  • Conduct database management as well as HS classification against customs and CIQ regulation;
  • Provide professional proposal on new commodities to be launched in China market from logistics perspective;
  • Provide technical support in case any customs dispute on importation declaration.
  • Support new item set up process, provide clear importation restriction instruction; identify the risk control license and set up internal application process
  • Study the impact to operation regarding any update on regulations, support to set up the process and drive the implementation with the help from operation team.

Qualifications:

  • College and above degree.
  • written and oral communication for both English and Chinese
  • pass Import and Export Commodity HS Classification Professional Ability Level Evaluation Examination
  • At least 2 years relevant working experience in HS classification
  • Familiar with I/E procedure and customs policy, will be better
  • Work hard and willing to receive the challenge job
