Job Description

Position Summary:

Reviewing import & export chemical product database to align with Customs and CIQ requirement, Meanwhile determine CoO and develop FTA program in order to generate savings for internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Functions

  • Determine country harmonized tariff codes & restrictions to import & export merchandise and especially focus on chemical products and maintain classification data in SAP and GTC Strategic Solution.
  • Deep knowledge about trade regulations with the chemicals including but not limited to Haz. Chemicals, Precursors, Controlled chemicals with due-use etc.
  • Provide technical support in case any customs dispute on importation declaration.
  • Provide guidance on Country of Origin determination
  • Specialist for free trade agreements and Trade analysis focusing on preferential tariff programs
  • Identify potential preferential trade agreement opportunity and implement.
  • Collaborate and collect data required to conduct Free Trade Agreement feasibility study.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing Free Trade Agreement training: manuals, SOP's and work instructions to align with trade requirements
  • Audit existing FTA program
  • Customs Compliance Manual- Document established processes and procedures for Import and Export operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor and above degree in international trade or chemical background.
  • Working experience in the field of CoO & FTA will be a plus
  • Strong written and oral communication for both English and Chinese
  • Proficient with ERP system such as SAP, MS Office, Access
  • Required 3 -5 year experience in international and local regulatory framework for Importing / exporting Familiar with FTA regulation and program
  • Work hard and willing to receive the challenge job
