Job Description
Position Summary:
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist III to offer outstanding product line consultation to our customers. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining flawless scientific operations by troubleshooting effectively and collaborating closely with our field service team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support via phone or electronically to customers, involving part numbers, hardware, software, and operations
- Troubleshoot efficiently applying the knowledgebases to successfully implement solutions
- Engage in occasional field service activities to maintain high knowledge levels for effective troubleshooting
- Manage all ticket types for Technical Support and participate in quote creation
- Diagnose all contract and warranty service requests strictly and communicate clear plans to the field service team
- Consistently follow business procedures and meet performance metrics
- Ensure both internal and external customers receive outstanding experiences with every interaction
- Perform all other duties as assigned by the Technical Support Manager and/or Supervisor

Requirements:
- Proven experience in technical support, preferably in an information technology role
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively
- Excellent communication skills, especially in French and English
- Ability to work collaboratively in an ambitious and inclusive team environment
- Determination to deliver outstanding customer service
- Ability to balance multiple tasks and compete in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
