Position Summary

Deliver scientific expertise and technological consultation to customers within the bio-cluster and key accounts in Korea, supporting growth targets for the Country Key Account Management Team. Collaborate closely and orchestrate business expansion efforts with sales, sales support, marketing, and technical sales specialist (TSS) across all divisions to improve account and business development opportunities.

What will you do?

  • Identify customers who need workflow support and provide scientific knowledge and technological consulting to meet commercial targets.
  • Assess and address customers' unmet needs by delivering scientific insights based on current research workflows.
  • Present sophisticated strategic approaches to key account managers to propose solutions to customers.
  • Engage with customers at commercially actionable levels to resolve specific needs, such as setting research direction or product selection.
  • Stay updated on the latest market and research trends to deliver detailed scientific strategies to commercial teams.
  • Plan and implement seminars and academic events in collaboration with other divisions.
  • Connect with customers through presentations, written reports, and interactive sessions.
  • Consistently track and analyze innovative technologies using our product line portfolio.

How will you get there?

  • At least 5 years of experience in research and development or commercial business within the academic or Life Sciences industry.
  • A master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field such as life sciences or biology is required, with a preference for candidates holding a Ph.D.
  • Proven success in developing innovative scientific solutions for customers with unmet needs.
  • Comprehensive expertise in fundamental research, production workflows, quality control, and commercialization standards.
  • Proactive in identifying both business and scientific challenges and proposing solutions.
  • Critical thinking skills to navigate the market environment and competition, and to develop viable strategic plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships and influence customers and collaborators.
  • Strong determination and a commitment to achieving goals.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently, and influence others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in business writing and experienced in using Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) effectively.
