Environmental Conditions
Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Fluctuating Temps hot/cold, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Office, Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.), Standing for full shift, Will work with hazardous/toxic materials

Location/Division Specific Information

High Point, NC

Hours: 7pm - 7am (2-2-3 schedule)

A Day in the Life:

  • Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on equipment through the facility.
  • Maintain operation of the primary plant.
  • Follow established methods and standard operating procedures.

Education:

  • Associate degree or higher with a minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing equipment maintenance, or HS diploma/GED with a minimum of 8 years of experience.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 4 years of work experience in electrical, electronics and controls technologies typically employed in industrial production equipment
  • Preferred: Experience in maintenance management in a leadership role.
  • Preferred: Experience with automated production equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Able to work independently and set priorities.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills, leadership with the ability to empower and develop a successful team
  • The ability to work a 12-hour shift in a 24-hour, 7 day per week operation. (2-2-3 schedule)

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Able to handle chemicals, including hazardous materials
  • Frequently lift 50 lbs and occasionally lift more than 50 lbs with assistance
  • Must be available to work overtime, including weekends to support department as necessary
  • Meet DEA security clearance requirements if requested.
