As the Team Lead Colleague Services (Lifecycles), you would provide support to the local and global HR function, gathering, compiling, and maintaining HR-related information and preparing various reports and documents.

This particular role would be a leader as part of our HR Colleague Services- Lifecycles group in the EMEA region. The Lifecyles group supports key pieces during an employee's tenure from pre hire through to termination.

Job Responsibilities

This leader would be over a small group in EMEA as part of our team that supports the following services:

  • Employee onboarding (doing contracts, asking for personal documents during onboarding to register for benefits and other onboarding activities, partnering with Talent Acquisition and local Colleague Services team, as necessary)
  • Job changes (receiving Workday job change inbox tasks, doing contract amendments, partnering with Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partners (HRBP) and Managers, when necessary)
  • Terminations (complete offboarding for terminations, including creating termination documentation)
  • Maintains personnel files for assigned location(s), ensuring timely and accurate processing, and filing of forms.
  • Gathers, compiles, and maintains HR-related information and prepares various reports and documents.
  • Handles employee inquiries in the Case Management system to ensure high customer satisfaction and work in line with the service level agreements.

The Leader would:

  • Assigns work to team members as needed.
  • Provides guidance on process updates to direct reports
  • Provides training/ tracks progress/ KPIs of assigned team
  • Work with HR collaborators directly to support programs.
  • Participate in special projects assignments as requested by leadership.
  • Manage staff, which may include interviewing and selection, job description preparation, professional development, goal setting, performance management, coaching and mentoring, employee counseling, and separations. Approves courses of action on salary administration, hiring, corrective action, and terminations. Reviews and approves time records, expense reports, requests for leave, and overtime.
  • Advise management on staff relation issues, identifies problems, and uses independent judgment in resolving problems by interpreting policies and weighing alternative approaches.
  • Represent the HR Colleague Services group when interfacing with client groups.

To be considered for this role, you should have the following qualifications and experience:

  • High/Secondary School education or equivalent and relevant formal academic/vocational qualifications.
  • Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to at least 3-5+ years), or equivalent combination of education, training & experience, ideally with prior HR shared service exposure.
  • 1+ yrs of direct leadership responsibility or lead experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks while still delivering high-quality results.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Basic understanding of Human Resources programs, practices, and regulations/legal requirements for applicable country/ region.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to handle confidential information appropriately and high attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Experience with HR database platforms (SAP, Workday) is an advantage.
  • Shared service experience with experience in ticketing systems is an advantage, such as ServiceNow
  • Must be proficient in English and local language, if applicable.
