This position is based at one of the following locations. Bedford, MA; Chelmsford, MA; Logan, Utah; or Greenville, SC. Position will support the BioProduction Group (BPG).

Discover Impactful Work:

We are seeking a skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our master data team. This position will evaluate, prioritize business initiatives and master data requirements, implementing projects to improve the quality of critical data for their assigned business units.

A Day in the Life:

  • Assess the health of current data through data quality assessments and identify data needs for prioritized projects. Engage with global domain authorities to resolve data challenges. Implement improvement initiatives using project management principles to deliver projects on time. Communicate progress to leadership through status reporting and remove barriers to execution that might be encountered.
  • Lead multifunctional, high impact projects spanning the order process. Define project scope, resourcing and project plans with clear ownership and due dates. Coordinate project team members, meetings & actions. Hold team members accountable to commitments, advocate for resources.
  • Collaborate with data owners on data gathering, analysis, socialization of solutions and publication of data standards. Encourage functional data stewardship.
  • Partner with support teams including data analytics, data management and data governance to apply their expertise, driving consistency of practices.
  • Update business processes & I/T system data. Collaborate with process owners to transfer outcomes to standard business process. Ensure training occurs with new practices. Coordinate data standard repository using tools including data catalogs and Microsoft Sharepoint.

Keys to Success:

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial/Mfg Engineering, Supply Chain Management preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Process Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma trained preferred.

Experience

  • 2-4 years of relevant supply chain, materials management, or master data experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge/experience using data driven systems across the order fulfillment continuum. Examples of systems include Product Life Cycle, Supply Chain, ERP/MRP and Advanced Planning Tools.
  • Deep knowledge of ERP data.
  • Able to identify data requirements to enable achievement of business objectives.
  • Demonstrate understanding of use of data driven processes & systems in a complex environment. Understand system integration, impact on internal & external processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Able to think critically and strategically.
  • Project management expertise. Experience balancing mulitple cross functional projects concurrently
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Self-starter.
