Job Summary: The Supply Chain Specialist III will play a pivotal role in supporting the CSD by providing strategic leadership and driving pivotal initiatives to meet business objectives. This position is vital for meeting customer demand, enhancing efficiency, reducing waste, and minimizing costs through effective project management, demand planning, and supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management and Continuous Improvement:

  • Serve as a Practical Process Improvement Leader by finding opportunities for enhancement and spearheading Kaizen initiatives.
  • Lead project teams in the execution of critical supply chain projects, including but not limited to MRP customization/optimization and the implementation of Advanced Planning & Scheduling systems.

Demand Planning and Supplier Management:

  • Drive performance improvements with key suppliers by identifying and resolving complex systemic issues.
  • Implement Supplier Recovery and Improvement initiatives to elevate suppliers to World Class performance levels through enhanced process capabilities.
  • Develop and manage strategic projects, including project plans, tracking capabilities, and progress reporting to leadership.
  • Validate purchase orders to ensure they support accurate demand, improve supplier Line of Balance (LOB) and past dues (PD), verify raw material and Work in Progress (WIP) positions, review yield and quality performance, resolve capacity issues, identify tooling needs, ensure stable and accurate demand signals, and enhance Supplier Look-Ahead metrics.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related business management field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of relevant supply chain experience in the Life Sciences, Medical Device, or regulated industries.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Proven project management experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and remain goal-oriented.
  • In-depth knowledge of inventory control techniques and a solid understanding of planning functions related to Capacity Planning (CPS), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), and interfacing systems (e.g., QA, Forecasting).
  • Strong analytical skills combined with practical discernment.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships across various functional teams.
  • Proficiency in Sophisticated Planning, MRP, and ERP planning systems (E1 and SAP).
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $83,300.00-$125,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
