  • Leading and managing project teams to successfully implement and monitor project plans.
  • Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget, adhering strictly to project management methodologies.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams to determine project requirements and deliverables.
  • Developing detailed project plans, including schedules, risk management plans, and prioritisation.
  • Deliver projects on time and within budget, addressing issues/risks and finding resolutions.
  • Monitoring project progress and performance, identifying and resolving any issues that arise.
  • Communicating project status, updates, and any changes to collaborators, maintaining outstanding transparency.
  • Ensuring that project documentation is maintained and that all deliverables are of world-class quality.
  • Conducting project post-mortem and crafting a recommendation report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
  • Manage PM direct reports, providing leadership and supporting and job development
  • Build up risk management and back-up plan intra and inter projects
  • Design/deliver plans for the best customer service according to CEM program expectations and targets. Objectives met/exceeded through the implementation of project plans.
  • Review Changes of Scopes/Project Expansions prepared by PMs based on Patheon Italy cost structure and guidelines from technical teams, to be provided to Patheon UK.
  • Maintain an overview of the projects portfolio and support the Manager to build up a capacity plan of Project Management team.
  • Support the Manager by monitoring the financial forecast both short and long term trough SOR.
  • Develop staff and talents by setting objectives, appraising performance, and help PMs to identify professional development plans to cover the gaps.
  • Support/lead department or site project initiatives as required, including promotion of continuous improvement in business, operational and GMP processes within PSG program.
  • Support the relationship between PDS and DPS business units to facilitate the efficient scheduling of PDS project activities.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • Proven experience in project management, ideally within a related industry.
  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving abilities and a diligent approach.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.
  • Proficiency in both Italian and English.
