As a Supervisor in Manufacturing Planning, you will contribute to the success of our Single-Use Technology Division (SUD) by ensuring successful execution of production schedules and prioritizing efficiency and innovation within a dedicated team of Manufacturing Planners.
How will you make an impact?
The Supervisor, Manufacturing Planning, will bring to bear the ERP system to meticulously schedule jobs for custom orders and made-to-stock products. We will play a vital role in delivering schedules loaded against capacity targets, accounting for material availability, and accommodating expedites and customer requests wherever possible.

What will we do?
Lead, coach, and mentor a team of Manufacturing Planners to enable continuous growth and development of each team member.
Share standard methodologies with other sites within the business unit and establish yourself as a Manufacturing Planning Subject Matter Expert.
Collaborate effectively with the Supervisor, Materials Planning, to enhance performance in crucial areas like timely delivery and high-quality execution.
Use MPS/MRP signals to drive production planning.
Handle key item settings in ERP systems to ensure accurate system functionality.
Plan and schedule MTS products whilst supervising safety stocks & excess inventory.
Review and reconcile exception messages.
Balance customer demands with capacity while establishing the production schedule.
Expedite production batches when needed to fulfill product demand.
Connect with Customer Operations & Support Team regarding any issues impacting timely delivery.
Coordinate closely with Operations to optimize schedule adherence.
Collaborate with various departments to minimize schedule changes within the frozen window.
Train as a backup for other team members.
Engage in continuous improvement activities.
Support expansion and harmonization projects.
Perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
How will you get here?
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- proven experience in Production/Manufacturing Planning or Supply Chain.
- Proficient in managing and analyzing data in Excel.
- Demonstrated understanding of manufacturing concepts and principles, finite scheduling, product flow, data management, and supply chain planning.
- Planning and scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment applying MRP/ERP and APS (Oracle, ASCP, SAP, JDE, server-based systems).
- Preference for Certification in APICS CPIM, CSCP, ISM CPSM, Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher).
