Location/Division Specific Information

Within our Laboratory Equipment Division, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Field Service Supervisor for general laboratory equipment, monitoring system and sample preparation and analysis system, and if required extending to other product lines.

In the position of Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and build service excellence above our customer expectations.

Job Duties:

• Own the field service operations and ensure customer satisfaction for a specified area/customer segment.

• Responsible for service call dispatch. Track for urgent/ important cases

• Manage projects such as installation and solution development

• Own the depot repair cases. Work together with the Depot Engineer. Verify and own the depot repair result

• Good cooperation with Service Operations, Service Sales, Depot Engineer, and Equipment Sales.

• Engage and cooperate with the other field service teams to drive One Thermo Fisher.

• Handle key account customer

• Manage Field Service KPI and engineer business referral

• Handle customer complaints and CAS feedback

• Manage engineer certification/qualification

• Manage the service revenue, cost, and people expenses

• Develop the team for better efficiency and productivity

• Provide technical support to the frontline engineer.

• Manage the team with parts consignment effectiveness

• Well manage the borrowed tools.

• Report field service status on meetings such as Service MBR, Commercial MBR, and Catch-Up Meeting.

• Support ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Service Manager

Keys to Success:

Education

  • High Diploma or above in Engineering or other related discipline.

Experience

  • 3 years or above relevant work experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Excellent interpersonal communication both written and oral in Chinese and English. Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues in difficult and stressful situations
  • Great teammate with strong desire to success and result oriented
  • Good verbal and written communications skills related to technical approaches, work performed, test results, and findings.
  • Customer friendliness and professional attitude
  • Have strong electrical or mechanical background for troubleshooting/repair, and problem solving abilities
  • PC literacy including MS Office and Outlook.
