Job Description

How Will You Make an Impact? We are seeking a highly skilled, professional technical supervisor to join our multidimensional and growing team. In this position, you will be providing pre-sales and post-sales technical support of Thermo Fisher Scientific products to our Biosciences customers. You will also lead all aspects of a group of dedicated technical scientists providing customer support, thereby giving significantly to customer allegiance resulting in a contribution to the overall success of the business.

What will you do?

  • Lead, mentor and manage a team of Technical Application Scientists and Field Application Scientists to build customer allegiance
  • Foster a collaborative and motivated team environment, promoting continuous improvement in customer service delivery.
  • Oversee day-to-day technical support operations to ensure timely, high-quality responses to customer inquiries and issues.
  • Support our customers in the area of cell biology and analysis, sample preparation, molecular biology, and protein analysis
  • Provide trainings and consultations on the use and maintenance of instruments, software, reagents and consumables Demonstrate the technical advantages of Thermo Fisher Scientific products to sales staff and customers through seminars, workshops, demonstrations etc.
  • Work with CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system to build a strong customer database and assist the business by identifying, recording and bringing up opportunities.
  • Work with local, regional and global colleagues to ensure sharing of knowledge and business success.

How will you get here?

Education

  • MS or PhD in Biology or related Biological Science field is preferred

Experience

  • +5 years of laboratory or related work hands-on technical experience
  • +3 years of customer facing experiences
  • Extensive experience in a broad range of protein and cell analysis assays and instruments is preferred
  • Experience in people management is a plus, but not vital

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Demonstrate good leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication & presentation skills.
  • Proven technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent time management skills and able to work effectively to meet multiple daring priorities
  • Proficient English and Mandarin language skills - oral and written
  • Travel within Taiwan will be required
