In Eindhoven, we develop, build and deliver innovative High-End Transmission Electron Microscopes (TEM). Together with your team you will be responsible to thoroughly build, test and deliver our microscopes according to our quality standards and on time whilst working in a clean-room environment.
How Will You Make an Impact?:
Our TEM microscopes take 6-12 months to build, calibrate and test before they can be shipped to our customers.
In this role, you will act as a system owner and make sure that a customer-order-specific transmission electron microscope is built and aligned according to the customer's requirements.
A Day in the Life:
• Starting your day with some flexibility between 07.00 - 09.00. After a cup of coffee, you get dressed and enter our high-class cleanroom
• You start your day with a white board session with the rest of your team, where the status of your system is discussed, and you can ask questions or ask for help if needed
• Collaborating closely with your diverse team (10-15 people) throughout the day
• Resolve system issues by being pro-active and seek partnership with your direct peers, troubleshooters and Operations Engineers.
Education:
MBO4 , HBO or Master education.
Career path
Advancement opportunities within and outside of Manufacturing ,for example to Engineering or R&D.
Experience:
• Some working experience (1-2 years) is preferred but not mandatory
• Demonstrable technical interest with an eagerness to learn is key
• Preferred: Experience working in a clean room environment
• Preferred: Experience testing complex electromechanical systems
