Job Responsibilities

  • On-site Program Replenishments and Disbursements: Perform stockroom duties such as receiving, put-away, stock rotation, cycle counts, and other functions according to customer requirements.
  • Adhere to Best Practices: Follow well-defined SOPs and work instructions. Take direction from the Manager and Team Lead regarding daily duties.
  • System Navigation: Apply computer systems to access and follow procedures as outlined by our written protocols.
  • Customer Communication: Proactively communicate any customer concerns or potential problems with your supervisor.
  • Issue Resolution: Listen to customer concerns and effectively address issues with a goal of resolution within established dedication times.
  • Professional Representation: Consistently represent Thermo Fisher Scientific positively and professionally at customer locations.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with Health and Safety requirements for both Thermo Fisher and the customer.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

  • Education: An apprenticeship or a background in warehousing and logistics.
  • Experience:

Experience in logistics operations and warehousing is helpful.

1. 0-1 year of experience in attention to detail, problem-solving, and team collaboration, preferably within a laboratory setting or services.

Proven customer service skills with strong verbal and written communication.

  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

Desire to serve the customer and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various levels of personnel.

1. Demonstrate computer proficiency and basic skills in the Microsoft Office suite.

Organizational skills to multi-task and meet deadlines.

1. Ability to lift, push, and pull 30-40 pounds consistently; may be required to lift 50 pounds using pushcarts, pallet jacks, forklifts, etc.

Ability to work independently at a customer location.

1. Depending on the area of the building, personal protective equipment may be required.

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in New York is $19.64-$29.45.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
