What will you do?

The Sales Operations Reporting Analyst will partner with the Director, Sales Operations in the strategic and tactical execution of initiatives and projects to drive the sales organization towards meeting the criteria for success within the defined sales strategies and objectives. You will lead and maintain all reporting to ensure all the commercial teams needs are met. The ideal candidate will have strong business insight, combined with excellent analytical skills, technical skills and a bias toward action and collaboration. Strong process orientation and the ability to work in a cross functional environment at all levels are also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate business needs of sales leaders and other internal partners into professional reporting formats and dashboards that generate actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Provide insights on sales trends and performance metrics to drive informed decision-making and identify new selling opportunities.
  • Lead the development and maintenance of comprehensive sales performance reports and dashboards with PowerBI, using advanced analytics and visualization techniques.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data processing and analytics capabilities related to sales and activity metrics.
  • Design and implement sophisticated ad hoc reporting solutions to support field-based sales teams and senior leadership, addressing business questions and providing data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and detail robust data definitions and business rules, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and integrity of sales data across Salesforce.com and external data sources.
  • Ensure the integrity and efficiency of Salesforce.com data, implementing and maintaining effective data governance practices and data quality controls.
  • Build positive relationships and establish trust with business partners and cross-functional teams, collaborating closely to understand their needs and align solutions with business objectives.
  • Provide comprehensive training documentation and deliver training sessions to colleagues across the organization, encouraging data literacy and empowering others to leverage reporting and analytics tools effectively.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications

  • Requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and an advanced degree or equivalent work experience.
  • BA/BS degree in Business, Statistics, Finance, or other business-related subject areas preferred
  • 6+ years experience in Sales Operations, Commercial Support, or related Finance role
  • Diagnostics, Medical Device, Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences experience a plus
  • 6+ Advanced technical skills with PowerBI.
  • Experience in Salesforce Report and Dashboard creation
  • Expertise with data visualization
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
  • Exhibits personal accountability to accuracy of information and meet results.

  • Work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Travel 10% - 15%
