Responsibilities:

  • In align with short term and long-term business goals, responsible for business planning and strategy execution, driving business growth in Research segment.
  • Work closely with function leadership to determine adequate and robust marketing actions to support sales.
  • Liaise with Commercial Operations Lead to determine execution of tactics related to strategy
  • Liaise and advise Leader to determine strategic direction
  • Ensure active pipeline management including targeted prospecting activities in conjunction with marketing lead generation programs and development of new business including identification of opportunities with new clients through interaction with division function teams
  • Create and execute sales programs for new prospective clients to increase awareness of GSDCSD offerings and key differentiators from our competition
  • Identify and present GSDCSD's value proposition, including opportunities for strategic cross selling.
  • Enable winning quotations and agreements with new and existing customer
  • Provide oversight of accurate quarterly revenue forecasts and budget related to new business at each customer and take strategic action.
  • Provide input into strategic initiatives including integrated and cross selling
  • Lead China Research sales team through role model leadership, proactive performance management and coaching, and focused engagement to attract, retain and develop talent
  • Facilitate employee development including defining annual goals, objectives within assigned territories and targets, and career development activities
  • Set Vision for the team and enable overachievement and success of sales goals

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor/master's degree in science or Business
  • Extensive Research industry experience in sales management at least 5 years
  • Preferred exposure to both sales and marketing management principles;
  • Strong computer functionality especially in areas of analytics
  • Fluency in English is preferred and excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with influencing skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills
