Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mid and long-term plan (STRAP) into the Korea for the Laboratory Chemical market. Screen regional application trends to identify new market opportunities or potentially trends. Identify issues and drive improvement actions. Share country-level market expectations with the BU
  • In collaboration with key cross-divisional collaborators, provides insights generated from market research, customer input, internal partner feedback and other means to ensure differentiated solutions, innovated marketing projects are delivered to market.
  • Finding new market opportunities across the Korea region derived from our Strategic Plan process to derive growth for the entire portfolio.
  • Complete the vertical markets' strategy by crafting approaches to demonstrate the full value chain of the Korea country model. This will include aligning the cross-Group/Division/BU strategy to drive business growth linking and all the business segments and collaborating value chain to the customer.
  • Build customer relations with strategic key accounts including academia/research/large customers. This role will also build on current frameworks and assess Thermo Fisher's current portfolio for expansion into these markets and new product offerings, developing organic and inorganic growth strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Chemistry / Biochemistry or any Science related fields
  • or Bachelor's degree above in Marketing or Business related major (MBA preferred)
  • 7+ years working experience, having people managing experience
  • Experience in leading projects in their entirety and in balancing multiple projects with strong project management
  • Experience in working in a matrix environment with multiple collaborators and partners
  • Experience with budgeting and planning processes
  • Ability to work independently and be self motivated.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills required English
