Location/Division Specific Information:

The Thermo Fisher Scientific Swedesboro site is part of the PSG-CTD Division. It is a multi-product and multi-client biopharmaceutical site supporting Clinical Ancillary Management (CAM). We provide storage and order fulfillment of commercial and commercial-free pharmaceutical products for our clients. We have capabilities to support and store products that require cold chain and ambient processing.

Shift Information:

Monday- Friday 8-4:30pm (overtime as needed)

How Will You Make an Impact?:

The Senior Quality Assurance Technician will assist in ensuring quality assurance protocols and methods for processing materials into partially finished or finished products are compliant. Perform analysis of reports and production data to identify trends and recommend updates or changes to quality standards and procedures at an advanced level when necessary.

A Day in the Life:

  • Support the clinical trial packaging operations to ensure alignment with the Quality procedures.
  • Review packaging and manufacturing start-up checks, in-process checks, and inspections per Quality System requirements.
  • Assist with product deviation identification and maintain associated documentation.

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

  • Required: Minimum of 2 years of work experience in QA or QC or related field
  • Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Independently follow procedures and instructions and confidently guide operations team on quality issues.
  • Multi-task to complete daily work requirements with great attention to detail and integrity.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

  • Walk and stand up to six hours at a time
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Ability to wear PPE as required
  • Occasional OT maybe required
