Summary

The Sr. Project Manager is a self-motivated leader that will drive programs to develop and commercialize solutions and products related to Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry. This role will collaborate with different functions across the organization to ensure full program requirements and successful execution of all sourcing activities.

This role provides exposure to, and regular communication with, all levels of the organization, including the senior leadership team. In addition to having project management skills, the successful candidate should be adaptable, engaging, and prepared to handle every situation with respect and integrity. The position will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Program Management in the CMD.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • You will analyze the cost of existing products, identify savings opportunities and drive the implementation and execution of strategic sourcing projects and initiatives.
  • You will work alongside highly motivated, multinational and interdisciplinary teams from R&D, supply base, manufacturing engineering and quality functions to align capabilities with technical requirements.
  • The goal will be to maximize the cost efficiency while the quality and performance is kept the same or even improved.
  • You will work closely with global sourcing and site procurement teams and suppliers to identify opportunities to remove cost from complex electro/mechanical designs.
  • Once opportunities are identified, this role will be responsible for project management on key projects and initiative in EU supporting two main manufacturing sites in Bremen and Germering while also collaborating with Centers of Excellence for PCBA and IEC India Engineering Center.

Keys to Success:

  • PLANNING AND EXECUTION: Conduct planning sessions, represent sourcing and manufacturing sciences in project core team. Ensure new project implementation deliverables are planned and implemented as per project timelines.
  • RESOURCES MANAGEMENT: Identify needs and provide resource planning information to sites for approval and support. Allocating and coordinating resources such as workforce, materials, equipment, and budget to ensure optimal utilization and timely completion of projects.
  • RISK MANAGEMENT: Ensure project success by identifying, highlighting, and mitigating risks in the scope of responsibilities.
  • COMMUNICATION & COLLABORATION: Facilitating clear and timely communication between team members and partners.
  • Adopt and constantly seek for opportunities to improve process / product transfer workflows.
  • SKU, BOM management through ERP system.
  • Actively uses PPI tools and methods.
  • Is an active team member, generates ideas on how to improve and optimize processes.
  • Assists team members in resolving extended team and functional issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education & Requirements:

  • University degree in engineering, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in project management or manufacturing.
  • Have a solid understanding of Product Development Practices, Processes and Tools, experience with Design to Cost methods, preferably in the context of sophisticated analytical instruments. Previous experience with the VAVE project is an advantage.
  • Embrace a growth mindset, demonstrating a willingness to learn, adapt, and continuously improve to drive innovation and success in production processes.
  • Effective open collaboration and communication with diverse teams and leadership.
  • Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
  • Very good written and oral communication skills in English language.
  • Good knowledge of Windows and Office programs.

Compensation
The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €30,000.00-€45,000.00.
