Team:

MSD/R&D is the Research and Development organization for Electron Microscopes. We are committed to develop innovative technologies that enable our company to deliver top notch microscopes for our demanding markets and customers.

The Strategy & Operations team plays a pivotal role in shaping our strategic direction. We focus on establishing efficient processes for product development, portfolio management, and continuous improvement. Our aim is to ensure successful realization of our project portfolio by providing reliable data for informed business decisions. Additionally, we foster strategic partnerships with external development partners to deliver innovative solutions within designated timelines.

Position:

The expansion of our team has created an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Senior Program Manager R&D. We are seeking an individual who is passionate about driving pivotal initiatives and achieving key outcomes, shaping development partnering strategies for key modules and suppliers and has a strong inclination towards implementing process improvements and leading change.

Responsibilities of the position within the MSD/R&D team include:

Owning the implementation of key initiatives based on the yearly strategic update.

Collaborating with other departments to develop effective development partnering strategies.

Taking ownership of developing and enhancing crucial R&D processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Serving as the focal point for sustainability within R&D, shaping and coordinating the R&D program and collaborating with business units and Corporate Departments.

In this role, you will be an integral part of a hard-working team that constantly strives to exceed expectations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director R&D, you will make a significant impact and contribute to the growth and success of MSD.

Qualifications:

To be qualified for this position, candidates should have:

  • A MSc degree in Physics, Engineering or related field.
  • Proven experience in product development.
  • Experience in setting up product development partnerships with suppliers.
  • Experience with design for sustainability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills with exceptional organizational abilities.
  • Effective influencing and customer management skills.
  • Experience in optimally driving improvements and change.
  • A growth mindset, continuously seeking opportunities for learning and development.

Traveling internationally, if required, for less than 25% of the time.

The position is based in either Eindhoven (NL) or Brno (CZ).
