Position Summary:

This role involves working in the Digital Commerce Platforms group to develop and implement enterprise initiatives and technical projects for Fisher Scientific and Thermo Fisher Scientific ecommerce websites.

As a Sr Product Owner, you will play a crucial role in driving product innovation and delivering world-class solutions that empower our customers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product management process from concept to launch, ensuring flawless execution at every stage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales, to successfully implement product strategies.
  • Define and manage product roadmaps and backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Determine product requirements and prioritize features based on customer feedback, market research, and competitive analysis.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators to measure product success and make data-driven decisions.
  • Foster clear communication and alignment with collaborators to ensure transparency throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent; advanced degrees are a plus.
  • 10+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 4+ years as a Product Owner or similar role in product management.
  • Outstanding ability to lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines.
