As a Sr Material Handler at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you will be integral to ensuring the flawless execution of our logistics operations. Your contributions will directly impact our ability to compete and succeed globally.

A day in the Life:

  • Complete material receipt, labeling, and storage processes.
  • Coordinate the daily tasks of receiving, storing, preparing, and packing clinical supplies.
  • Prepare and ship materials/products to research centers, ensuring quality and accuracy.

Keys to Success

  • Dedication to maintaining a well-organized and safe warehouse environment.
  • Ability to successfully implement total and partial reconciliations as per work instructions.
  • Proficiency in completing administrative tasks and documentation efficiently.

Education

  • Bachillerato or equivalent experience required.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in similar warehouse and pharmaceutical logistics roles.
  • Proven track record in handling inventory and stock control.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Knowledge of Good Storage and Distribution Practices.
  • Basic proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

This role involves physical activities such as lifting and moving materials and working in various temperature conditions, including refrigerated, frozen, and ultra-frozen environments.
