This is an outstanding opportunity for a validated top performer with extensive systems integration (HW/SW/Consumables) new product development program management experience to drive meaningful groundbreaking change affecting people, processes, and systems! This role will lead cross-functional new product development teams for integrated benchtop instrumentation to support life science industries. Additionally, programs may include design control documentation and capacity expansion. The position will maintain a manageable balance of project and PMO standardization work helping drive meaningful change impacting PMO reporting and the entire BU. This position favors a change agent who strives to deliver results and has a pragmatic mentality for organization.

What will you do?

• You'll drive all day-to-day program work, making sure that risks are proactively assessed and mitigated, problems are rapidly identified and resolved, ensuring successful New Product Introduction.

• Serve as the single point of contact for all matters related to the project, collaborating with all areas of the business impacted by the project and its results. Leads the triple constraint, facilitating trade-offs, resolving and supplying to the right scope, schedule, and budget to deliver efficient business results in support of the division's strategy.

• You'll lead program communications and stage-gate approval reviews, providing clear and concise written and verbal communication to all levels of the program team and partners, and tailoring style to a broad range of audiences and situations, including senior executives.

• Build and maintain project timelines ensuring project tasks, dependencies and responsibilities are well defined. Apply critical path techniques in schedule development and project monitoring.

• Support the design and implementation of cross-functional practices which increase effectiveness and efficiency through standardization, automation and processes that scale.

• Establish a positive relationship with PMO partners; cultivate a collaborator experience by which the partners are supported and eager to engage with the PMO.
• Support PMO governance; facilitate cross-collaborative discussions with R&D, product management, Operations, Service and senior team members across the business unit

• Travel up to 25%.

Keys to Success.

Education:
• Requires a bachelor's degree in a technical field/Engineering field or 10 years equivalent work experience.
Experience:
• Requires 8+ years of experience in project management
• Track record of installing consistency, transparency and accountability within a PMO
• Experience working with and balancing multiple projects and teams simultaneously across a matrixed organization
• Proven record of delivering project outcomes consistent with committed timelines, budget and specification
• Strong understanding of product development challenges and methods for resolution.

• Experience creating PMO report outs using Power BI, Excel macros, and Planview PPM tools

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrates strong intuition for business and a bias for action
• Excellent planning and leadedership skills, ensuring that cross-functional team members understand roles and responsibilities and key deliverables are met
• Excel / analytical & PowerPoint development & delivery skills, suitable for executive level presentations
• Ability to develop and run portfolio of projects - prioritization, tradeoffs, risk management, etc.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in New York is $130,000.00-$194,950.00.
