Job Summary

As the Sr Manager of Sales Development at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you have the outstanding opportunity to lead the go-to-market strategy for our genetic sciences business. This role is crucial for driving our mission forward by collaborating with country commercial leaders and applying your outstanding skills to identify and evaluate market opportunities. You will play a key role in successfully implementing business development strategies for emerging technologies and new market segments, ensuring flawless execution and growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a go-to-market strategy for the genetic sciences business portfolio, including forensic sciences (HID), precision medicine, Pharmacogenomics, and animal health in Southeast Asia & Taiwan.
  • Drive incremental growth through value proposition and workflow selling solutions.
  • Identify and evaluate market opportunities for business development.
  • Foster a sales development organization that excels through effective employee recruitment, motivation, and retention strategies.
  • Manage funnels and optimize go-to-market strategies.
  • Collaborate to review distributor performance and ensure funnel health.
  • Propose, develop, implement, and monitor distributor's sales objectives.
  • Establish regular and effective communication with country teams and channel partners.
  • Proactively initiate new strategies to grow business based on market understanding.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of demonstrated sales experience and achievement.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in real-time PCR, Sanger sequencing, and microarray application.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influence skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and self-motivated.
