Job Description

We are currently seeking a motivated and goal-oriented individual to join our team as a Manager, Field Service. In this Engineering role, you will have the opportunity to lead a dedicated team and contribute to our mission of enabling our customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead strong cross-functional teams across product lines and fields to implement Digital Science products and solutions for customers and meet business revenue and margin objectives.
    • Work closely with sales to scope, define, and document services opportunities, accurately estimate effort, author Statements of Work (SOW), and help with RFP responses and presentations.

• Own services forecasting, invoicing, utilization, profitability, and effectively handle customer critical issues.
• Builds strong interpersonal relationships across the organization, working closely with product management,
engineering, technical support, and technical operations.
• Establishes relationships with services delivery partners to augment and manage delivery capacity.
• Build a culture of excellence in the team, an environment to attract and retain the best talent, and be able to lead and
manage through influence.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a professional services managerial position in a software/technology company.
    • Strong customer focus, business sense, interpersonal, influencing and collaboration skills.
    • Proven experience in leading, managing and influencing diverse teams to achieve planned goals.
    • Strategic problem solver with outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
    • Strong project management capabilities and experience across entire project life cycle.
    • Ability to work independently in a matrix environment.
    • Familiarity with life sciences, clinical diagnostics, and applied markets - or similar industry.
    • Familiarity with PPI or similar business/process systems to drive standard methodologies and continuous improvement is a plus.
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time to customer sites and for key internal meetings.
