Key responsibilities:

  • Client Relationship Management and Strategic Leadership
  • Lead the Business Management Team to serve as leaders in site business activities, representing client interests while improving the site's financial position.
  • Own client business relationships, ensuring timely issue resolution and flawless communication.
  • Identify and prioritize opportunities, driving teamwork across functions to support clients and achieve desired results.
  • Work closely with the site General Manager and uphold the company's values, policies, and client agreements.
  • Participate in and/or lead pivotal initiatives related to the manufacturing operations or the wider manufacturing business.
  • Quotations and Supply Agreements
  • Support Sales, Quotes, and Contracts teams in generating and closing new projects and products.
  • Review new business proposals to ensure alignment with financial commitments.
  • Ensure all MSA requirements are completed timely, including pricing, payment terms, renewals, and yield reconciliations.
  • Understand financial obligations within the Master Service Agreement (MSA) and work with Finance to ensure compliance.
  • Contribute to pricing strategy and execution across the network, including annual price increases and any applicable surcharges.
  • Focus on strategic issues, including large MSAs and/or significant potential deals.
  • Support the R&D organization with development project issue resolution and scope change pricing discussions.
  • Demand Management
  • Collaborate with customers to understand short-, medium-, and long-term forecasts and drive demand management for the site.
  • Team and Talent Management
  • Lead and direct the Business Management function, ensuring effective achievement of agreed goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement development plans for team members, providing mentorship and guidance.
  • Identify, attract, motivate, and retain outstanding talent.

Education and Experience

  • University Degree or equivalent experience in Science and/or Business. Masters in Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Eight years relevant experience with business management/business development/strategic accounts/sales management/operations preferred.

  • Ability to synthesize information from various sources and present it to collaborators.
  • Extensive Customer Relationship Management experience.
  • Strong planning and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in the English language.
