Position Summary:

We, Comparator services, are a key service within the Clinical Supply Chain division! This position is responsible for the portfolio management of High Potential clients for Comparator Services with a positive relationship with members of the Commercial and Clinical Study Teams. The successful contributor will be growing new accounts and securing existing business by individual contribution and through the management of a successful team of subject matter experts. Meeting these objectives includes support to sales team in the Strategic development of the account, the formulation and the coordination of specific end-to-end account comparator sourcing solutions, and the implementation of tactics and strategies that primarily result in building long-term productive customer-supplier relations.

As part of a full service division we are developing opportunities and aligning across all service line offerings as an overall goal in meeting client's needs. Part of this responsibility includes role modeling behaviors that support partnership, creativity and development across service lines.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the team of experts in contact with regional commercial team for answering and guiding on specific segment clients' requests, such as RFQs and RFIs. Act as Subject Matter Experts in Global Comparator knowledge in giving advisory support on comparator sourcing and supply chain, providing timely and accurate information, related to the project.
  • Work closely with the commercial team to build positive relationship and gain overall customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise, communicate and analyze opportunities wins and loss. Identify and recommend solutions and actions to address client loss scenarios.
  • Champion the sourcing solution/strategy in collaboration with comparator sourcing team and coordinate the response from comparator client service team to customer, including the issuance of a proposal.
  • Foster clear communication of multi-sites/regions projects and among the different business lines to build full value for our customers.
  • Support as needed sourcing or logistics for the execution of clients' projects
  • Mentor and develop the team of customer facing experts.
  • Manage Program managers accountability on their accounts/segments to enable regional business growth.
  • Contribute to the recruitment, on boarding, training and development of employees.

Others:

  • We present at trade shows / exhibitions, workshops and seminars. We also participate in sales and marketing activities such as customer and/or study kickoffs/QBRs, teleconferences, customer visits, white papers, ...
  • Conduct market research and trend analysis reporting for the region on clients' pipelines.
  • Demonstrate and drive the Thermo Fisher values - Integrity, Intensity, Involvement and Innovation (The Four I's).
  • Apply GxP in all areas of responsibility.

Minimum Qualifications

To perform this job efficiently, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

  • Bachelor's degree in science fields, or related fields with 10+ years of experience in lieu of the Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ Years Minimum Experience within Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent
  • Organizational Skills
  • Proficiencies with MS Office / Adobe Products
  • Interpersonal skills surrounding Client Interactions
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and exercise good judgment and appropriate discretion when reaching conclusions
  • Familiarity with commercial supply chain of pharmaceuticals of advantage
  • Experience in pharmaceutical R&D, and in clinical supplies of advantage

Preferred Qualifications

  • High Level of Business Sense in both Administration and Business Strategies
  • In-depth knowledge of the Global Comparator Business
