What will you do?

As a Sr. LIMS Analyst, the individual is responsible for working as a part of a team or individually delivering valuable billable consulting services, primarily with Thermo Scientific's SampleManager software. Individuals in this role will interact directly with customers to

  • Understand their business objectives and needs
  • Develop and review technical user documentation
  • Configure and deploy SampleManager LIMS solutions
  • Work with customers in a variety of markets

You will work with both new and existing customers to deliver new project implementations, add-on or upgrade current deployments, and provide training services on customer specific configurations and customizations.

Minimum Education

  • High school diploma required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a scientific or information technology related field

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • 7+ years of experience with Informatics solutions such as LIMS (Thermo Fisher SampleManager LIMS Software preferred)
  • Experience in programming design and implementation with .net development such as C# is desired
  • Experience in requirements gathering and design specification writing is desired
  • Experience in the service delivery business is desired
  • Up to 50% travel requirements
  • Self-motivated with an ability to learn new skills independently
  • Experience with working in a laboratory, with laboratory instrument software and/or Chromatography Software (Chromeleon Preferred).
