Job Description
A Sr Key Account Manager (KAM) for Human Identification (HID) at Thermo Fisher Scientific may have a variety of responsibilities, including:
- Customer relations: Developing and maintaining relationships with customers, including distributors, purchasing and end users; building relationships, key opinion leaders' development (KOLs) and ensuring their satisfaction
- Communication: Presenting with laboratory clients and other departments, resolving issues and breaking barriers
- Sales goals: Generating new sales leads, implementing sales strategies, and analyzing sales performance; Achieving sales and profit forecasts, and meeting annual operating targets
- Business development: Identifying and qualifying new sales opportunities, and shaping business plans to drive growth
- Administrative tasks: Maintaining records, updating CRM systems (including Sales Force), preparing reports using provided tools, elaborate forecast presentations, and managing time
- Product knowledge: Researching competitors and industry activity, and keeping informed of new products and services
- Customer service: Responding to customer questions, taking orders, and providing solutions
- Sales calls: Making sales calls to customers and potential customers, including key opinion leaders, and leading customer calls
- Territory management: Working within a defined territory, and growing the territory
- Teamwork: Working with cross-functional teams, including suppliers and internal resources
- Marketing: Implementing marketing campaigns and discovering target markets together with marketing teams
- Budgeting: Handling budgets and ensuring brand consistency

Some skills that may be useful for a KAM at Thermo Fisher Scientific include:
- Life sciences and science background, preferably in application for Human Identification

- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
