Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead IT operations and the IT team in Vilnius. As the Senior IT Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the flawless functioning of our technology applications and infrastructure, while driving strategic IT initiatives to support our company's ambitious growth objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, and developers, fostering a collaborative work environment and providing guidance for success.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with Thermo Fisher Scientific's business objectives.
- Collaborate with key partners to identify technology needs, prioritize initiatives, and establish project roadmaps.
- Provide strategic guidance on emerging technologies and industry trends to drive innovation and maintain a world-class edge.
- Ensure the availability, security, and integrity of IT systems, implementing robust disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Run vendor relationships and contracts, ensuring service level agreements are met and cost-effective solutions are implemented.
- Coordinate the successful execution of IT projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Establish and implement IT policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry requirements.
- Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement appropriate controls.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience in these areas will also be considered.
- Validated experience in IT management roles, preferably in a large-scale, global organization.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of effectively leading and developing impactful teams.
- Extensive knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure, systems, and operations.
- Exposure to full lifecycle experience of sophisticated environments with a mix of in-house developed software and off-the-shelf solutions.
- Proficiency in developing long-term plans, aligning IT projects with organizational goals, and implementing digital advancements.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good understanding of IT governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks.
- Outstanding communication and social skills to effectively empower and influence customers at all levels.

The salary range estimated for this position based in Lithuania is €61 800,00-€92 700,00.
