Job Description
Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer (IIoT/OT/IT) to join our dedicated team. Work remotely and contribute to innovative projects that shape the future of advanced manufacturing. Join us in creating world-class Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions for the manufacturing sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable IIoT applications for manufacturing environments.
- Create responsive and intuitive user interfaces for industrial monitoring and control systems.
- Implement server-side logic and integrate seamlessly with various databases and APIs.
- Collaborate with Rockwell Automation software to communicate with industrial control systems.
- Apply PTC's Kepware for data collection and Thingworx for IIoT application development.
- Develop and maintain SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
- Collaborate exceptionally with multi-functional teams including hardware engineers and data scientists.
- Enhance application performance and solve issues in production environments to ensure seamless execution.
- Know the latest trends in IIoT and manufacturing, including emerging technologies and standard methodologies.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue).
- Strong back-end development skills (Node.js, Python, or Java).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with industrial protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC-UA).
- Knowledge of Rockwell Automation software suite.
- Experience with PTC's Kepware and Thingworx platforms.
- Understanding of SCADA systems and industrial control processes.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
- Strong problem-solving skills and strict attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the manufacturing or industrial automation sector.
- Knowledge of data analytics and machine learning techniques
- Experience with real-time data processing and visualization.
