How will you make an impact?
The Sr. Financial Analyst will assist with the FP&A activities and will partner with the business leaders to develop actions and recommendations to enable the business to achieve its financial objectives.
A Day in the Life:
- Serve as a strategic business partner for DSS leadership and the extended team
- Analyze financial performance, identify revenue-generating opportunities, support product leaders to drive revenue growth, and improve margin and efficiency. Run financial documents/reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis, actively handle working capital.
- Drive key processes such as STRAP, Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Forecast, Quarterly/Monthly Business Review (QBR and MBR).
- Lead development and preparation of AOP, quarterly forecasts and monthly updates.
- Research, assess, and derive insights on relevant competitors and market dynamics (e.g. end customers, regions).
- Provide accurate and meaningful analysis in a timely manner.
- Work closely with other Finance partners in Group and Corporate.
- Ensure internal controls are in compliance with corporate requirements.
Keys to Success:
Education
- Bachelors' Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management or related fields.
Experience
- 3-7 years of Finance experience
- Experience within a large multinational company is vital.
- Hyperion Enterprise and ERP system (e.g. SAP, HFM) experience strongly preferred; Power user of Excel, proficient in MS Office Word, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Strong business partner with critical thinking and data-driven analytical skills.
- Proven history of driving improvement in execution.
- Effective communicator, strong communication skills, and ability to partner with individuals at all levels in the organization.
- Self-motivated, driving for results.
